Flying Fish
General Information
Flying fish, found in warm, nice tropical waters of mostly all oceans. Flying fish are tropical sea fish that have pectoral fins like wings and can leap for some distance through the air. 1) they can glide up to 30-40 metres. Before the fish glides is swims rapidly bursting in the air at 55 kmph. When gliding its helps the fish to escape from predator.
The flying fish have huge wings and lopsided tails. They are able to jump out of the water and glide through the air. Also four winged flying fish can glide. They can be seen by there big fins. The tails are deeply forked and the lower part of the tail is longer than the upper lobe. 2)

The"Flying" part of the Flying Fish
The flying Fish has adapted to get up and out of the water in order to get away from their predators. Some Flying fish can actually fly about 36 feet above the ocean's surface. Fast flying fash can glide in the air at about 35 miles an hour for a distance of about 250 yards or more in a glide. To get out of the water, the fish start to speed swim toward the surface. Once it leaves the water, their unique flying wings come out, known as pectoral and pelvic fins. The wings provides enough lift for the fish to completely leave the water. 3)

WERE DO THEY LIVE:
They are found in war waters that surrounds barbados.
. Flying fish are found in all the major oceans, mainly in warm tropical and subtropical waters of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans.

How do flying fish escape from their predators?

Flying fish escape from their predators by jumping out of the water and gliding through the air up ass 100 meters.

Do young flying fish look the same as the the adult flying fish?

Flying fish have a color paater abd a pair of flaplike whiskers. The whiskers extend down from the the bottom of the lower jaw. As the fish grows the whiskers disappear, and are not found on adult flying fish.
